Tetractys

Poetry Friday

Inspired by the delightful and creative Brenda Davis Harsham's Tetractys, I've spent the week playing around with syllables and rhyme. It's good to get back to some writing....even if it's not as much  as I would like. Life is full right now. And, that is good.

Brenda is hosting Poetry Friday Roundup today and I am grateful. Hop on over to Friendly Fairy Tales for a bit of food for your soul.

  1. What a nice collection you have going, Linda! I'm partial to "Lace." long necked grace suits the flower.

  2. I had to return to the links to see how a Tetractys works. They're all wonderful, but I love queen anne's lace, so that is my favorite: that "handkerchief flutter". I also love the placement over the images.

  3. I love your Tetractys, Linda! I especially like the thought of Jack Frost etching - something we don't see in Tucson. =)

  4. What fun! The Tetractys is new to me, I'm inspired to play around with it a bit myself! Dear old Jack Frost can just wait patiently a bit longer though, I'm not ready for the cold!

  5. These look fun - I wonder if some of my students would like to try some.

  7. You must be a puzzler, Linda. It seems like you're having a lot of fun with this form! I think I might like to sleep under a sparkle blanket... as long as I can wear fuzzy winter pjs.
