Riddle Poem 6/23/17

My family and I are traveling this week...and our first day in a new city I couldn't help falling in love with the poetry all around me including a real poetry garden -- which is new to me. We celebrated the almost twelve hours of this Summer Solstice being together discovering a new place...can you guess where we are?

Have lots more poetry fun at the wonderfully creative Heidi at

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, couldn't fool you poets! Yes, I'm in Seattle and having a marvelous time with my family....not only do I love these people. I like them.

I've gone a little cuckoo over finding cool words here. Yikes!

Word art by Linda who is really enjoying Seattle!

  3. I love the mystery. I thought of Seattle's Pike Place Fish market, too. I remember I bought art there years ago. And my stepbrother bought crab legs that my memory tells me were as long as my arm. Surely my memory is exaggerating. I hope. LOL

  4. I need more clues to guess where you are, but I'll offer a contrary suggestion of Portland, ME. We visited the market there long ago.

  5. I am with April and Brenda -- I think this might be Seattle. Hey, I recognize that giant eraser sculpture from our February Found Objects poems in 2016!

  6. Linda, love your poem, and I also love puzzles! I recognized the Claes Oldenburg "Giant Eraser" sculpture, though there are a few of them around. I'm guessing maybe it's out by Seattle too. .
You'll have to fill us in.
