| LOVE. Mixed media collage by me :) |
Happy Valentine's Day Friends,
On Sunday mornings, I get a weekly post from Teachers-pay-teachers with all kinds of goodies for educators. There are featured lesson materials to purchase and several free items that I peruse for ideas. Sometimes, the ideas are for my teaching...sometimes, the ideas are for writing.
Last week, I snagged a Poetry Parody, a free lesson, offered by Secondary Sarah. It fit the bill for some easy and silly writing this week. Secondary Sarah took Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, which begins famously, Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? and turned it into a mad-lib type activity for parody re-writes.

Here's my re-write of Shakespeare's Sonnet 18.
