I just finished Moon Over Manifest and loved it. What a wonderful book to win this year’s Newberry. The cast of characters and history portrayed are rich in a Walton’s meet Nancy Drew in Madam Sadie’s Divining Parlor kind of way. Perfect for girls ages ten and up…but with enough interest for boys as well.

School Library Celebrations!
Gotta love the American Library Association's list of reasons to celebrate a library and in a library! http://www.ala.org/ala/conferencesevents/celebrationweeks/index.cfm
