Awwwwwwwwwwwww, couldn't fool you poets! Yes, I'm in Seattle and having a marvelous time with my family....not only do I love these people. I like them.
I've gone a little cuckoo over finding cool words here. Yikes!

Wonderful, Linda! The fish makes me immediately think of...Seattle?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea where you are... but I love it! (Especially your 7th line. :P) Continue to enjoy. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteI love the mystery. I thought of Seattle's Pike Place Fish market, too. I remember I bought art there years ago. And my stepbrother bought crab legs that my memory tells me were as long as my arm. Surely my memory is exaggerating. I hope. LOL
ReplyDeleteI need more clues to guess where you are, but I'll offer a contrary suggestion of Portland, ME. We visited the market there long ago.
ReplyDeleteI am with April and Brenda -- I think this might be Seattle. Hey, I recognize that giant eraser sculpture from our February Found Objects poems in 2016!
ReplyDeleteLinda, love your poem, and I also love puzzles! I recognized the Claes Oldenburg "Giant Eraser" sculpture, though there are a few of them around. I'm guessing maybe it's out by Seattle too. .
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to fill us in.
I too thought it was Seattle. They do have lots of poetry, but wherever you are, you found a wonderful poem, Linda. This is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't recognize the city, but you did a great job on that poem! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteOK. I was going to get New Orleans, but I could be way off! Love that you found yourself surrounded by poetry! -- Christie @ https://wonderingandwondering.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteWherever it is, you're making it more beautiful with your snapshot vision. Enjoy the trip!
ReplyDeleteI think you're somewhere I haven't been...
ReplyDeleteLike the photo of you especially!
I love how you're talking about the city and using these images that belong to a city. It's such an energetic poem and you could truly feel the hustle and the bustle of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool poem. Such a fun puzzle; love this idea. I guess Seattle too. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but I really love your poem! I want to try this now...
ReplyDeleteWherever you are, you find poetry! (Or it finds you!!) Fun times -- ENJOY!!
ReplyDeleteYou stumped me--but then I scanned through the comments and think you must be in Seattle. Enjoy the long light!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! My guess was Seattle too (before I read all the above comments--honest). Enjoy your wanderlust.
ReplyDeleteSeattle! What a cool city, I've been lucky to visit there many a time - it's about three hours drive away for me. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your poem with all those wonderful found words. I know I'll have this in mind as I'm out and about this summer. You have such wonderful creative energy!
ReplyDeleteCame back to find this post when you mentioned you had visited Seattle. Now I want to know - where is the poetry garden? I'm a local and this is news to me.
