My sister-in-law was a bestie for two years before I met her brother and then married him. She knows me better than I like and, always finds the perfect presents. This is from a desk calendar that I love turning the pages of. Snoopy makes everything more fun...and reminds me of me and my sister-in-law.
Linda, thanks, I am feeling spring softness in in my spirits today but was in shock over the weather earlier. Snoopy sounds off for spring with Blessings Bloom and your image poem has such a beautiful thought.
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely adoring this Snoopy-Woodstock image, Linda! It so conveys the lightheartedness and joy, as does your soft golden shovel poem, inviting the quiet. "Focused joy" - I think about all the power in those two words.

ReplyDeleteSpring softness and blessings bloom(ing) are wonderful connecting points. And your golden shovel with its one focused joy and illustration is exquisite! I still have Snoopy pages saved from a calendar I had in college. I used them in my classroom for years.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of "one focused joy", taking the time to notice and breathe and just be...joyful. I feel like we sometimes need permission to be happy in the midst of hard times, and this is what your post gives.
